Games Book Discussion

The Hunger Games by Suzanne
Collins has been one of the hottest selling and most widely read series
in the country over the past three years. A movie based on the first book
is scheduled for release on March 23, 2012.
To celebrate this event,
the library will host a discussion of The Hunger Games at 7:00 PM on Tuesday,
March 13, in the Meeting Room. All are welcome to attend, and there

LIBRARY TO OFFER FREE COMPUTER CLASSES
Registration for the January
and February free computer classes offered at the Menomonee Falls Public
Library will begin on January 10, 2012.. Registration is required
either in person at the Reference Desk on the second floor or by phone
at 262-532-8920. Some classes being offered are single session classes,
some are a series of classes. Class size is limited, so early registration
is recommended.
Sessions include classes
on using the library’s catalog, basic intro to computers (2 class sessions),
using Craigslist, setting up your new computer, email usage, a computer
support clinic, protecting your computer, and classes on Microsoft Excel
2007 and Microsoft Word 2007, both of which are three class sessions, and
a special class for seniors on basic mouse skills. Individual
tutoring (30-minute session) will be offered at set times and days.
