FEB 20, 2010:  THIRD annual Chilly Fest, from 10 - 4pm; Professional carvers will be making art out of ice on the downtown sidewalks starting at 10:00 a.m.  People's choice judging to start at 2:00 p.m. and awards announcted at 4:00 p.m. at Sal's Pub & Grill. The focal sculpture in Centennial Park on the 4 corners will start the day before. Food available: chili, hotdogs, beer, pizza, wine coolers, soda, chips, cookies from Nino's.  The Chili Competition (11:00am) will be followed by live entertainment in a heated tent. 
Visit Dan's Tog Shop and Robyn's Nest for the latest styles in men's and women's fashions.
April 2  - Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Menomonee Falls children in Village Park.  (Appleton @ Garfield Avenues.)  Starting at 7pm sharp!  Before the start, the winner of the coloring contest will be announced.  Contest open to all children through Grade 5. Coloring Contest page will be provided HERE  when available.  This is a free event.  Come early and enjoy the antics of clowns and a special visit by the Easter Bunny!  Bring your basket, a flashlight, and your camera.  Questions? APRIL 17:  Menomonee River Annual Clean Up * Rotary Park 8:15a.m. – noon   Come and have Fun!  Food and prizes at Noon!

MAY 15: Kids Fishing Derby - Time: 9:00 - 1:00 - Free Fishing Derby! Fishing clinic sponsored by the Badger Fisherman League 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Catch & Release Contest sponsored by the Optimist Club 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  Register the day of the Derby for free clinics, fishing contest, and prizes.   Bring your own equipment. Free bait provided. Food sold. Children under 9 must be accompanied by parent and their help only. Under 16 - no permit reqiredd. Free t-shirts for all entrants. 
MAY 29: Sidewalk Market!  Visit Village Center downtown stores for merchant specials, from 10:00am - 4pm.
MAY 29:  Third annual LUCKY DUCKY DERBY, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus.  Race will be on the Mill Pond, starting at the Roosevelt Bridge and proceeding to a winners circle, just before the waterfall.  Food Soda Beer Raffles and Live music from 3 - ?, after the race, at the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse on Water Street.  WATCH VIDEO from the 2008 race in when it took place in Lime Kiln Park
MAY 31:  10:00am. Memorial Day Parade.  The parade starts at 10am, on Harrison and Main St., heads west to Grand and then heads north to Neu's. The parade lasts about 1 hour.

JUNE 17: FREE Concert in Village Park.  BLIND WILLIE BLUES BAND!  This exciting group is comprised of Menomonee Falls Doctors, who had a band in the past, and reunited 2 years ago. They are just GREAT!  The talented quintet plays popular uplifting Blues music, complete with vocals,  and punctuated by the strains of a melodic harmonica!  Bring your family, friends, picnic suppers and blankets.  Cash refreshments.  Garfield Ave.,  just West of Appleton Ave.

JULY 3: Independence Day  Parade / Fourth of July Parade. Starts at 7pm at the corner of Appleton Ave. and Elm, and proceeds south to the High School, followed by the fireworks.
JULY 1: Free concert in Village Park.  6:30 - 8pm.  Once again we welcome our very own Menomonee Falls Kiwanis Community Band!   This is the first of the two concerts for this summer. JULY 9: Noon concert at the Mill Pond  DOWNTOWN HARRISON!  His high energy level will have you out on the dance floor.  He is all-around FUN!  Does great impersonations of popular singers. Cash lunch available.  Main St.;  west of the bridge, by the shelter.

AUGUST 6: FREE concert at the Mill Pond. Noon - 1:00pm  MaryDel Rae Duo VIDEO of the Concert from 2008.  This Dynamic pair features Marydel Rae on guitar, vocals and percussion, with John Spasaro on lead guitar and vocals, playing all of your favorites from Sinatra to Country-Western to Santana. AUGUST 21: (9am - 4pm) The Village of Menomonee Falls is hosting a 3rd annual Pet Fair, benefitting H.A.W.S. OCTOBER 29, 2010 (Information about 2010 will be posted when acquired:
4-7:00pm: Scavenger Hunt - Look for "WITCH" signs in  participating stores. Visit all stores on map. Go into each store, and write down the number that is on their WITCH sign. One Boy and One Girl (ages 5-12) will be selected from the winning entries, to ride in the Christmas parade

4-7:00pm: Trick or Treat in the Village Centre. Downtown merchants will be giving out treats to children of all ages.  All m erchants with treats, will have a Halloween bag on their window, or door.  We suggest you park in the public lot behind Dairy Queen (off of Arthur Ave.) and start on that end of the Village Centre, finishing in the downtown so you can take the Spooky Lime Kiln Walk through the park and back to your vehicle!

6:30 - 7:00pm: - Non-Scarey Story Telling by Maggie Brooks, in the lobby outside Associated Bank on Main St.

7:00-8:30pm:- Spooky Walk through Lime Kiln Park Natural Area.  Enter from parking lot of Mojo's Steakhouse on Main St., across from the waterfall.  You will walk through the decorated park to approximatly the site of Dairy Queen.  Free flashlights courtesy of Kruegers Entertainment Center, while supplies last.

NOVEMBER 7: HOLIDAY BAZAAR - Early Bird Shopping Fair
The Friends of the Menomonee Falls Public Library will host the sixth annual Holiday Bazaar at the Library on Saturday, November 7 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the library. Local representatives who conduct home parties or catalog sales for these products will offer items for on-site purchase or order. Free parking is available on site, and admission is free.  The following home-based vendors are among those who will be participating this year:  Longaberger Baskets, Usborne Books, Arbonne International, Wild Tree, Watkins, Tupperware, Gold Canyon Candles, At Home America, Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, Miche Bags, Shaklee, Sunjel, Simply Fun, Stampin' Up, and the Migraine Health & Wellness Center. 

The event is a fundraiser of the Friends group, with a percentage of sales going to them. The Friends provide support to the Library with their fund raising and volunteer efforts for programs & purchase of materials. For  information, call 262-532-8930 or -8931.

Christmas Walk downtown with merchant specials, events, entertainment on the day of the Christmas parade. 
Noon - 4:00 Christmas in the Village Centre.  Village Centre merchants will be holding open houses with refreshments and more.
